A shower you'll never worry about.

Custom showers, bathrooms, fireplaces and heated floors across Spokane and North Idaho. Built to stay dry behind the tile.

Two-year workmanship warranty on every job.

5.0 on Google“After cleanup, there was not a single sign that a tile project had happened besides our stunning new surround.” Julie O.

Most tile failures are waterproofing failures.

A shower almost never leaks at the tile. It leaks behind it. Yours gets sealed as one system before the tile goes on, so you never find out the hard way.

How we waterproof a shower

What's behind your tile

  1. 1. TileThe part you chose. It is decoration, not waterproofing.
  2. 2. ThinsetThe mortar that bonds tile to the wall.
  3. 3. Waterproof foam boardHydroBlok or Schluter Kerdi-Board. The wall itself is waterproof, through and through. Never drywall in a wet area.
  4. 4. Sealed seams and cornersEvery joint, corner and screw gets band and sealant, so the boards become one system that keeps water out of your walls.
  5. 5. FramingChecked plumb and flat before anything goes on.

“Felix did two projects for us: 1) Evaluate our previous walk-in shower and recommend options to make it better. He convinced us the shower could be rehabilitated as-is without an expensive, and extensive, rebuild. The shower looked new when he was done! 2). Tile our new master shower. Felix did an excellent job, worked long and hard on the project, and the result shows. We are very pleased with his work, attention to detail, and enjoyed working with him. We highly recommend Felco Tile!”

“Felix helped us with a custom tile fireplace surround project and provided an absolute Five-Star experience and a gorgeous final product… His process is meticulous and puts great care into each and every step. I was thrilled when he put protective sheeting down in all work, access and installation areas. After cleanup, there was not a single sign that a tile project had happened besides our stunning new surround.”

“I chose him over others I searched on Google because of the outstanding reviews posted about his work… After a small leak, and my damaging the tile surface and grout by using the wrong products to try and fix; he restored the shower pan as good as new!! Unbelievable!”

Questions people ask

Do I need to be home while you work?
Only for the first walkthrough and the final walkthrough. The rest of the time we just need access. A lockbox or door code works fine.
Do you do the demolition?
Yes, we handle demo. Haul-off is quoted separately.
Do I need a permit?
Tile itself usually does not need one. Plumbing and electrical changes do, and your plumber and electrician pull those.
Who does the plumbing?
Your plumber, or one we can recommend. Rough plumbing happens before we start, and fixtures go in after the tile. We tell you the order so nothing waits.
